Madonna invokes her experience in journalism to animate the poetry and souls of her subjects while maintaining their native essence and focuses on wedding, event, and portrait photography.

She self-published her first book of soulful expressions; “He’s Always There” in 2009. Her presence was requested to capture Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, United States Supreme Court, at the Annual Judge Thomas A. Flannery Lecture Series, United States District Court House in 2010, after capturing the 1st series reception hosted by Zuckerman Spaeder, LLP a law firm in Washington, DC.

Madonna is a member of the Exposure Group African American Photographers Association and feels privileged to have exhibited with the Color of Life exhibition in 2009 and the Group’s 4th Annual Juried Member Show in 2010. Her image "Brotherly Love" was selected to exhibit at the Afro Brazil Museum in Sao Paulo, Brazil for its African-American Culture Celebration in 2009.

Madonna received a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Ladue, in Communication, from Trinity University, Washington, DC where she was inducted into the Lambda Phi Eta National Communication Honor Society Association, and was a journalist for the Trinity Times Newspaper. She was awarded a Master of Science in Administration in Organizational Development also from Trinity.
